  • Staff writer for the Office of Market Communications and Public Affairs, reporting for News@AUC and AUCToday Magazine. Writes 6-8 bylined stories per month and produces the twice-weekly News@AUC newsletter.

  • Supports the planning and execution of the 2026 Tahrir Culture Fest through event planning, media organization, and client management.

Girl Scouts of the USA, Policy Fellow                                                                                                      D.C., September 2024- May 2025

  • Monitored and advocated for state and federal legislation pertaining to the organization’s mission to empower young women through programs in financial literacy, civic understanding, and STEM education.

  • Supported and organized the Girl Scout trip to the 69th Commission on the Status of Women hosted by the United Nations. Organized a session on non-formal education’s impact on women’s political participation.

  • Maintained the Girl Scouts Advocacy webpage, gathered relevant media mentions, and researched content for the Public Policy and Advocacy’s toolkits for local Girl Scout councils.

Dean’s Scholars Program, Research Fellow                                                                                       D.C., May 2023- May 2025

  • Created a research thesis project in conjunction with the Elliott School of International Affairs. Traveled to Dakar, Senegal, to interview Mauritanian refugees and migrants about their experience of integration in Senegal. Wrote a research thesis that analyzed the findings.

  • Received four research grants and published paper in the Cambridge Journal of Political Affairs

  • Presented research findings at Harvard’s National Collegiate Research Conference, the National Conference for Undergraduate Research, and the Midwestern Political Science Association.

Association for Uncrewed Vehicles International, Policy Intern                                                D.C.,  January-May 2024

  • Aided the political advocacy team in tracking legislation and lobbying local governments, through outreach to local legislators.

  • Drafted weekly newsletters for members and outward-facing informational letters, which compiled weekly research on topics important to autonomous technology.
