

Originally from Portland, Oregon, Zoë Carver is a recent graduate of George Washington University, where she majored in International Affairs and Peace Studies, minored in French and Creative Writing with a concentration in Conflict Resolution and Africa. Zoë studied abroad in Morocco and Senegal, where she researched the impacts of the Senegal-Mauritanian crisis on migrant integration into Dakar, culminating in a published research thesis. She was awarded the Elliott School of International Affairs Distinguished Scholar Award in 2025 for her dedication to the field of global politics.
Zoë has interned in the U.S. Senate, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Girl Scouts of the USA’s Global Policy Office. Currently, she is a Presidential Associate at the American University of Cairo, where she works as a Staff Writer for News@AUC and AUCToday.
